Korean Remake?

When I saw the poster of Juno last month I thought, are they remaking another Korean flick?

So far Juno looks like the white Jenny and Juno.

I haven't heard or seen anyone credit the original.

Researching..
Huh...Diablo Cody credits
her own high school experience
(loosely). It is a rather
ubiquitous theme.

ha..
Daiblo says coincidence:

But who knows?
Need to compare plot details, with
the hundreds of other movies/TVshows
with the theme since the 60s.
Seems if you were going to have
the same name you'd talk about
the connection.

looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, swims like a duck...most probably it is a duck

there is no such thing as coincidence in show business.

The movie is a remake…if she denies that then its plain outright plagiarism

the nerve of the writer…you can’t fool people by switching names from girl to boy and adding a subplot and call it brand new….

kinda like
Mr. and Mrs. Bo Jo Jones (1971)
I Want to Keep my Baby (1976)
For Keeps (1988)
"Saved" (2004) actually had the
keep-baby-different-dad theme,
with a twist.
Using the word "Juno" was clever
factionalizing Psych, though, IMO.
Tapping any division is very potent
these days.
Peace Out
